MEET THE FISH

Leigh Mill lake is home to a variety of wonderful specimens, including top-quality, hard-fighting rainbow trout, brown trout, and wild perch. These fish are regularly stocked from our supplier's hatchery at Duncton Mill in Sussex, with most weighing from 1 to 8lbs. Larger specimens are also stocked from time to time. Come and experience the thrill of catching these magnificent fish at Leigh Mill.

Quality Rainbow Trout

Adult freshwater stream rainbow trout average between 0.5 and 2.5 kilograms (1 and 5 lb), while lake-dwelling and anadromous forms may reach 9 kg (20 lb).
