Our property boasts a peaceful and scenic setting, with a lake that covers approximately three acres and is fed by the Gibbs Brook. The lake is filled with pure spring water that flows from the surrounding hills and is naturally filtered through underground springs. The cold, clear water creates a thriving habitat for our fish to flourish.
Experience the best of fish at our property, with 14 well-positioned casting platforms or bank spaces available for use. These platforms, named after chalk streams in southern England, provide rustic seating and level access for easy casting. There is also plenty of room to back cast, ensuring that you can fully enjoy the sport of fishing. The variety of platforms available allows you to choose the perfect spot to cast from, ensuring that you have the best chance of reeling in a catch.
Make our property your home away from home for all of your fishing needs. We offer a cosy cottage complete with full kitchen facilities, a flushing WC, and a refreshing shower. After a day out on the lake, you can relax and rejuvenate in the cottage before preparing a tasty snack or hot meal to enjoy under cover. Our cottage provides all the comforts of home, making your fishing experience even more enjoyable.
Our property is home to stunning wildlife, including rainbow and brown trout. Our lake is regularly stocked from our supplier's hatchery in Sussex. These top-quality, hard-fighting trout range in weight from 1 to 8lbs, with larger specimens occasionally stocked as well. The trout thrive on a diet of nymphs, fry, and terrestrials and can be found amongst an abundance of damsels, sedges, lake olives, and alders.
